Information We Collect

Keephouse collects the information needed to create and operate your account, including your email address, password authentication data, email verification status, session records, and account timestamps.

When you use Keephouse, you may add household inventory records such as locations, item names, item descriptions, quantities, item photos, and a profile photo. Photos are stored as private objects and served through authenticated API routes.

Keephouse also keeps operational records such as refresh-token state, email-change audit entries, admin audit entries, API error events, and scheduled job history. These records help operate, protect, troubleshoot, and support the service.

How We Use Information

• To create accounts, verify email addresses, and authenticate sessions.
• To store, retrieve, search, and display your household inventory.
• To store private profile photos and item images for your account.
• To send service emails, including verification and account deletion messages.
• To secure the service, investigate errors, and support administrative operations.

How Information Is Shared

Keephouse does not sell personal information and does not use your data for advertising. Information is shared only as needed to run the service, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or respond to your requests.

Keephouse runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, including Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, Pages, and related operational services. Email delivery infrastructure is used to send verification and account deletion messages.

If you install or access Keephouse through a mobile app store, the store operator, such as Apple or Google, may process app download, purchase, device, crash, or account information under its own privacy policy.

Security

Keephouse uses account authentication, private storage for images, ownership checks on authenticated resources, and administrative access controls to help protect your information. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but Keephouse is designed to limit access to your own account data and operationally necessary admin workflows.

Retention and Deletion

Keephouse keeps account and inventory information while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can request account deletion from the app. When deletion is requested, Keephouse revokes refresh tokens, blocks further access, and marks the account for deletion.

A scheduled hard-delete job permanently removes eligible account data, inventory records, photos, image metadata, and related account records. The service is designed to complete this permanent deletion within 24 hours after the deletion request.

Your Choices

• You can update your email address or password in the app.
• You can delete your profile photo and item images.
• You can request account deletion from the app.
• You can contact Keephouse about privacy requests at privacy@danielnugent.dev.

Children

Keephouse is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Keephouse, contact privacy@danielnugent.dev.

Changes to This Policy

Keephouse may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a new version is published.
